(Rancho Santa Margarita, CA) The Mt. SAC Men's Golf team remained first in the Orange Empire Conference with a second-place finish in the OEC Neutral at Tijeras Creek Country Club Monday (May 24).
The Mounties (379) finished just two strokes behind winner Saddleback (377), which hosted the event.
They were followed by Orange Coast College (379), Cypress (386), Riverside City College (394), Ventura (403) and Victor Valley (443).
Cathan Peterson-Cheek of OCC was low medalist with a 1-under Par 71.
Mt. SAC was led by three golfers who each carded a 75; Ben Sanders, Bryan Saw and Felix Tsui. They were followed by Amaan Patel and Brandon Winters, each with a 77.
The final event of the year will be the OEC Tournament, held at Candlewood Country Club in Whittier Monday, June 7.
