(Norwalk, CA) In a South Coast Conference crossover matchup, host Cerritos College (11-5) handed Mt. San Antonio College (8-8) a 69-45 defeat on Wednesday, Jan. 4.
The Mounties' Mikah Gardner and Nick Hopkins led all players with 13 points each. Hopkins and LJ McClain grabbed game-highs in rebounding with seven apiece for Mt. SAC.
The Falcons outplayed the Mounties in several key team categories, including rebounding (38-33), fastbreak points (14-2), and points in the paint (36-10).
Mt. SAC will host El Camino College (10-6) in an SCC crossover game on Friday, Jan. 6, at 7 p.m.
