(Walnut, CA) For the second game in a row, all five Mt. San Antonio starters scored in double digits as the host Mounties (10-4) won their third straight, a 94-73 South Coast Conference crossover victory against Los Angeles Southwest (10-4) on Wednesday.
Jamal Edmonson led Mt. SAC with 22 points, while teammates Shaquil Bender (18 points), Justyn Hunter (17), Lowrance McClain (12), and Dyren Brown (10) rounded out the double-digit scorers for the Mounties. Bender led the team with 10 rebounds, as Edmonson grabbed nine.
The Cougars' Brandon Fredrick led all players with 32 points and 11 boards. Teammate Karl Jones also had 11 rebounds.
Mt. SAC will continue its SCC crossover schedule by hosting Los Angeles Harbor (9-3) on Friday, Jan. 14, at 5 p.m. SCC North Division play begins against Pasadena City College (1-13) at home on Wednesday, Jan. 19, at 5 p.m.
