(Walnut, CA) Behind big innings in the fifth and eighth, Riverside City College (11-3) cruised to a 17-5 non-conference victory over host Mt. San Antonio College (7-5) on Friday, Feb. 23.
Top hitters for the Mounties included Andrew Ramirez (2-3, 2 R. 2 2B), Bryan Bradshaw (1-3, 2 R, RBI), Nick Mejia (1-3, R, RBI), Kaden Moeller (1-3, RBI), and Andrew Waters (1-3, RBI). Diego Ortiz also stole a base for Mt. SAC.
Starter Alejandro Morales (2.1 IP, 2 H, 2 R, 0 ER, 2 SO) got the loss for the Mounties, falling to 0-1 on the season.
Mt. SAC will travel to Orange Coast College (5-9) for a non-conference game on Saturday, Feb. 24, at 12 p.m.
