(Walnut, CA) The Mt. SAC Baseball Game on February 8th (2:00 pm), against Cypress College, will recognize and bring awareness to the Stacy Sage and Art Mazmanian Scholarships.
The scholarship honors the memory of former Mt. SAC Athletics Student Trainer Stacy Sage and brings awareness to Gall Bladder Cancer, which took her life at a young age. February is Gall Bladder Cancer Awareness Month.
Information regarding this tragic disease, the Stacy Sage Memorial Scholarship and the Art Mazmanian Scholarship will be distributed at the stadium entrance.
Legendary Hall of Fame Coach Art Mazmanian is expected to be in attendance as well as Steve and Carol Sage, the parents of Stacy.
Each year both scholarships are presented at the college's annual scholarship awards ceremony. This year's ceremony will be held on Saturday, June 8, 2019 at the Sheraton Fairplex Conference Center.
