COC Gives Up Six Runs in Fifth Inning In Loss To Mt. SAC
The Colege of the Canyons baseball team gave up 11 runs on 11 hits on Saturday afternoon to fall to Mt. San Antonio 11-3 in the final game of the South Coast Tourney.

WALNUT, Calif. - The Colege of the Canyons baseball team gave up 11 runs on 11 hits on Saturday afternoon to fall to Mt. San Antonio 11-3 in the final game of the South Coast Tourney.
The Cougars only scored three runs on nine hits, and left eight batters on base in the loss.
First baseman Jake Jelmini had a RBI double in the sixth inning and center fielder Hunter Hernandez had a pinch hit RBI single in the eighth inning.
In the bottom of the fifth inning, the Canyons' pitchers gave up a walk and five straight hits to help MT. SAC take an 11-1 lead.
Jake Jelmin went 2-of-3 with an RBI. On the mound, David Haerle was tagged with the loss after going four innings with seven runs (five earned) and six hits.
COC will host East L.A. on Thursday, February 9 at 2 p.m.
