Malia Carr attended Mt. SAC from fall 2017 to spring 2019. She played indoor as well as being a member of the first-ever beach volleyball team for the Mounties. She was named 2017 Libero of the Year for the South Coast Conference. After receiving her AA from Mt. SAC, she transferred to Catawba College in North Carolina where she played indoor and was also a member of the first-ever beach volleyball team for the Indians. She was named MVP during the 2019 indoor season. Carr received her Bachelors in Physical Education at Catawba College in 2021 and is currently in the Teaching Credential Program at California State University of Northridge.
