Clark Maloney begins his 13th season at the helm of the Mt. SAC Men's Basketball Program.  Maloney returned to Mt .SAC, where his coaching career began, as a full-time Professor of Kinesiology and Mountie Men's Basketball Head Coach in 2012. Maloney served the program for six years in the 90's (1993-1999) as an assistant (2 years) and head coach (4 years).

During his returning homecoming season in 2012, Maloney led the Mounties to Mt. SAC's first ever CCCAA Men's Basketball State Championship.  He guided CCCAA State Championship MVP, Garrett Nevels and CCCAA State Player of the Year, Corey Allen Jr. to numerous accolades on their way to an incredible 29-3 record.  

Prior to returning, Maloney was the Head Men's Basketball Coach at St. Thomas University in Miami Gardens, Florida. He resurrected a non-existent Bobcat Program and led them to a 79-67 record over the last five years, which included 2 trips to the NAIA National Championships. He also spent 7 years at Salem International University (Salem, WV) and 2 years prior to that at West Texas A&M (Canyon, TX).

Maloney was an outstanding point guard at Central Jr. College (McPherson, KS) and at Mid America Nazarene University (Olathe, KS). At Mid America, he helped lead his team to their first 20-win season and their first conference championship.

A native of Chickasha, Oklahoma, Coach Maloney is a graduate of Mid America Nazarene University (1990) and received his Masters Degree in Education, with an emphasis on Physical Education, from Azusa Pacific University (1998).

In his free time, Coach Maloney enjoys spending time with his family and watching movies. He currently resides in Walnut with his wife, Sophie and their daughter Gabrielle.
