Adriana Ramirez joined the Mt. SAC Softball Program coaching staff in the fall of 2024 as a volunteer assistant coach, specializing in training the team’s catchers. A familiar face at Mt. SAC, Ramirez was a standout catcher on the 2018 and 2019 State Championship-winning softball teams before continuing her athletic and academic journey at McNeese State University. While at McNeese, she contributed to two Southland Conference Tournament Championships (2021 and 2022) and made two NCAA Division I regional appearances.
Ramirez holds an associate degree in kinesiology from Mt. SAC, as well as a bachelor’s degree in general studies with a concentration in social behaviors and a master’s degree in criminal justice, both from McNeese State University. From fall 2022 to spring 2023, she served as a student manager for the McNeese State softball team, which secured the 2023 Southland Conference Tournament Championship.
Born in Alhambra, California, Ramirez graduated from South Pasadena High School, where she was a two-time MVP on the softball team. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, working out, and reading. A few fun facts about her: she dislocated her thumb while catching, played soccer in high school, and lived in Louisiana for three years.
Now residing in Downey, California, Ramirez brings a wealth of experience, passion, and knowledge to the Mt. SAC softball program, and we are thrilled to have her as part of the coaching staff.
