(Las Vegas, NV) Retired Mt. SAC Head Athletic Trainer and National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA) Hall of Fame Member Andy Paulin adds another great honor to his prodigious resume, NATA Preceptor of the Year.  Paulin was presented the award at the 2019 NATA Convention during the Professional Education Committee Session on June 25th.

A Preceptor provides formal instruction and evaluation of clinical proficiencies in classroom, laboratory, and/or in clinical education experiences through direct supervision of athletic training students.

The NATA Preceptor of the Year Award recognizes those within the Athletic Training profession who serve as a preceptor for an Athletic Training Program.  The recipient is someone who goes above and beyond to help mentor students, and who work to improve the future of our profession by preparing the students of today, to become the professionals of tomorrow.
