(Walnut, CA) For the third time in college history, Mt. SAC will host the California Community College Athletic Association (CCCAA) Men's and Women's Track & Field State Championships. The event will take place this Friday and Saturday, May 20th and 21st at world renown Hilmer Lodge Stadium, on the Mt. SAC Campus.
Over 500 student-athletes, from over 34 colleges, will compete in 42 events over two-days on Mt. SAC's "world class" track and field facility. Hilmer Lodge Stadium has been the site of hundreds of national records and 21 track and field world records.
After easily capturing both the men's and women's SoCal Championship Titles last weekend, the home team Mounties are heavily favored and looking to capture their 13th overall state championship for both the men's and women's programs.
The action will begin on Friday from 12 noon until 8:00 pm and on Saturday from 10:00 am until 7:45 pm. Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for students w/ID, seniors, children and college staff w/ID.
