Doug Todd Inducted Into The Foot Locker Cross Country National Hall of Fame

(San Diego, CA) Mt. SAC Head Women's Cross Country and Track & Field Coach, Doug Todd, was inducted in the Footlocker Cross Country Championships National Hall of Fame.  Todd received the award at the 2017 Foot Locker National Cross Country Championships Banquet which was held on December 8th, at the Hotel Del Coronado in Coronado, California.  

In his 20th year with the event, Todd has helped evolve he event by directing the West Regional (at Mt. SAC), West Regional Team and through his numerous innovative techological ideas.  He was the first regional director to move registration "on-line" to the web, use cameras and a jumbo screens at the event and the first to webcast races.  Todd has led the West Team to seven individual girls and three individual boys national championship titles.

This season, Todd, guided the Mt. SAC Women's Cross Country Team to their ninth overall and fifth, under his direction, California Community College Athletic Association (CCCAA) State Championship.  Mt. SAC has won 14 CCCAA state championships in cross country and track & field under his direction.
