(Walnut, CA) For the eight consecutive year, the Mt. SAC Athletics Program was named the South Coast Conference Athletic Supremacy Award winner. The Mounties captured SCC Championships in 9 SCC Team Sports and finished with 208 points, 42 points ahead of second place Cerritos College.
Mt. SAC Captured SCC Championships in Women’s Basketball, Men’s Cross Country, Women’s Cross Country, Men’s Soccer, Softball, Men’s Swimming/Diving, Women’s Swimming/Diving, Men’s Track& Field and Women’s Volleyball, while taking second in Women’s Track & Field and Women’s Water Polo.
The South Coast Conference is comprised of Cerritos, Chaffey, East Los Angeles, El Camino, Long Beach City, Los Angeles Harbor, Los Angeles Southwest, Los Angeles Trade Tech, Mt. San Antonio, Pasadena City and Rio Hondo Colleges, and El Camino College-Compton Educational Center. The conference was created in 1967.
