(Walnut, CA)  Mt. SAC Athletics takes the early lead in the 2014-15 National Association of Two-Year College Administrators of Athletics (NATYCAA) Cup Standings with 109.5 points.  The Mounties are looking to capture an unprecedented third consecutive NATYCAA Cup.  

The Mounties had an extremely successful start to the 2014-15 season, capturing State Championships in Football and in Women's Cross Country, as well as placing very high in 4 other sports.    

FALL TEAMS SCORING NATYCAA CUP POINTS (based on final state finish)

  • Women's Cross Country = 20 points
  • Football = 20 points
  • Men's Soccer = 19 points
  • Wrestling = 18 points
  • Men's Cross Country = 17 points
  • Women's Water Polo = 15.5 points

The NATYCAA Cup is awarded annually to the outstanding overall California Community College Athletic Program in the State.  Since its inception in 2003-04, Mt. SAC has captured 4 titles, placed 2nd, five times, 4th one time and 6th one time.
