(Walnut, CA) The Mt. SAC Women's Volleyball Program continued their winning ways Wednesday night, defeating the Fullerton College Hornets in 3 games (25-15, 25-16, 25-20), to start the season off 6-0!

The Mounties were led in hitting by Jordon Wilson, 8 kills on 15 attempts (.467) with only one error and Makenzie Thieme, 8 kills on 17 attempts (.412) with one error, as well. They were supported by the strong setting from 3 Mounties, Haley English, 9 assists along with Carolina Urquieta, 8 assists and Merosa Uiagalelei, 7 assists. Erica Gumz finished with 7 digs along with Alexandria Peterson 6, Julia Colin and Temple Faamafoe 4 digs while Wilson had 4 solo blocks.

Mt. SAC will look to continue its success when they travel to Ventura College to take on the Pirates on September 16th, at 6:00 pm.
