Women's Golf Overcomes Adversity to Finish in 4th at Orange Empire Conference Opener.

(San Jacinto, CA) The first Orange Empire Conference match for women's golf took place at Soboba Springs Golf Course on Wednesday afternoon.  The Mounties finished 4th out of 8 teams despite adversity, as top player Sarah Juelch withdrew with an injury and Marissa Valencia was hampered by a stomach flu.  Valencia finished with an 82, despite the illness, to lead the Mounties, who ended the day with a team score of 358.

Victoria Rodarte shot an 86 and Beatrice Ornelas and Lucy Yu both shot a 95 to round out the top four scores.

Mt. SAC will travel to Palm Srings for the Desert Classic at Indian Canyons Golf Course this weekend.
