Doug Todd Honored As International Track Coaches Association Coach Of The Year

(Fresno, CA)  Mt. SAC Athletic Special Events Director, Doug Todd was honored as the 2012 International Track and Field Coaches Association (ITFCA), Coach of the Year.  Todd was honored for his committment to Track & Field and Cross Country across the globe, through his work directing the Mt. SAC Athletic Special Events.  The award was presented to him by the ITFCA Vice President, Bob Fraley, during the annual Run For The Dream Indoor Track and Field Invitational on Monday, February 19th at the Save Mart Center in Fresno, California. 

"No one does more for Track & Field and Cross Country than Doug Todd and his staff at Mt. SAC," replied Fraley.  "Their work has made a huge impact on these sports and the lives of hundreds of thousands of people who annually attend and compete at their events.  This honor is most deserved and we thank Coach Todd for all he has done for the sports of Track & Field and Cross Country."

Doug Todd currently serves as Professor, Head Women's Cross Country and Assistant Track & Field Coach at Mt. SAC.  He also directs the Mt. SAC Athletic Special Events, which includes the Mt. SAC Relays, LA84 Foundation Youth Days Track and Field Meet/Clinics, Mt. SAC Cross Country Invtational, the Footlocker West Regional Cross Country Championships and the Mt. SAC International Track Camps.  Each year over 100,000 people from throughout the world attend or compete at a Mt. SAC Athletic Special Event.
