(Walnut, CA) Both Men’s and Women’s Tennis Teams won their first round match in the California Community College Athletic Association (CCCAA) Dual Team Regional Championships and have advanced to the semi-final round. Both teams will have a tough match taking on the #1 seed in their respective division.
The men’s team (#4 seed) defeated #6 seed, Saddleback College, 5-3 and will now travel to face #1 seed Irvine Valley on Tuesday, April 12 at 2:00 pm.
The women’s team (#6) upset #4 seed, Irvine Valley College, 5-3 and will take to the road to face a #1 seed Cerritos College on Tuesday, April 12 at a time to be determined.
Prior to the CCCAA Dual Team Regional Play-Offs, both Mountie Teams will finish their regular season at the South Coast Conference Championship Tournament, which will be held at Cerritos College from Thursday, April 7th through the Saturday, April 9th.
