(Fresno City, CA) Chalk up another shutout for the Mt. SAC Men's Soccer team this season.

Sophomore goal keeper Edwyn Gutierrez (5 saves) notched his third shutout as the Mounties defeated Feather River College, 4-0, Monday afternoon.

The Mounties (6-1-1) received goals from four different players as sophomore forward Andre Gamboa and sophomore midfielder Alexis Diaz-Paya scored a goal and an assist each.

The first goal came early in the game at the 4:00 mark as Diaz-Paya took a corner kick to freshman midfielder Jason Rocha making a run to the first post for the 1-0 lead.

That initial goal was followed ten minutes later (14th minute) off of a rebound at the top of the 18 and Diaz-Paya knocked it home for the 2-0 lead. Gamboa assisted on the play.

Mt. SAC doubled up on the score in the second half with two more goals.

The third goal was a nice build up from the back line. The play started with Rocha, who passed back to Gutierrez, over to freshman defender Jorge Estrada and to Sam Ponting, Mike Gonzales and finally freshman midfielder Pedro Morales from the top of the PK spot for the score in the 59th minute.

Gamboa finished the scoring with a PK in the 82nd minute for the 4-0 final.
