Ricardo Valdez Named To 2015 NSCAA All-American First Team

(Kansas City, MO) Sophomore Defender, Ricardo Valdez of the Mt. SAC Men's Soccer Team was named to the 2015 National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Junior College All-American First Team.  Valdez, out of Roosevelt High School in Eastvale (CA), helped lead the Mounties to their 9th consecutive appearance in the California Community College Athletic Association (CCCAA) Men's Soccer State Championship Play-Offs.   Valdez was also named to the 2015 NSCAA Junior College Division III All-West Region First Team.

"Ricardo is one of the most dominant defensive players, I have ever had the opportunity to work with," replied Head Coach, Juan Sanchez.  "He was a huge factor in why we were able to return to the state championship play-offs this season.

Freshman Defender, Miguel Martinez, out of Garey High School in Pomona (CA) and Sophomore Midfielder, Michael  Woliski, out of Servite High School in Anaheim (CA), both earned  2015 NSCAA Junior College Division III All-West Second Team Honors.
