(Walnut, CA) We invite you to come out and support the Mt. SAC Football Team (3-0) as they take on the Fullerton Hornets (3-0), this Saturday, at Nathan Shappell Field (Yorba Linda High School) in Yorba Linda (CA). Game time is 1:00 pm for what is anticipated to be one of the top match-ups of the season with national, state and SoCal championship title implications. Both teams are undefeated and hold the top two spots in the California Community College Athletic Association (CCCAA)/California Community College Football Coaches Association (CCCFCA) Southern California Poll.
The Hornets (#1 USA, State, SoCal) are the defending CCCAA State Champions, while the Mounties (#5 USA, #4 State, #2 SoCal) have been the most dominant program the past 10 years with an overall record of 109 wins and 19 losses (.851 win%) . During this time, under Head Coach Bob Jastrab, Mt. SAC has captured an incredible 2 national, 3 state, 6 Southern California, 8 conference and 10 consecutive bowl games.
