Football All-Conference Awards Announced, Mounties Place 16 on the List!

(Walnut, CA) The Mt. SAC Conference Championship Football Team (8-3, 5-1) puts it's mark on the Southern California Football Association (SCFA) with 16 Post Season Awards. Sophomore linebacker, Suliasi Tamaivena (Kirkland, WA / Palo Alto HS) led the way by earning the SCFA National Division Central Conference Co-Defensive Player of the Year.

The Mounties earned 3 First Team Offensive honors, including sophomore offensive linemen, Joe KupcikeviciusTimothay Ah Hee and freshman place kicker, Brandon Gracia.

Along with Suliasi, the defense was well represented by sophomore defensive end Norman Moimoi, linebacker Sitiveni Tamaivena, safety Derek Norman and Aaren Vaughns, who took both punt and kick returner honors.

On the Second Team Offense was sophomore center, Frank Vierra, wide recievers Cameron Akins and Isaiah Manley. On the defense were sophomore defensive tackle, Anuanu Pole'o along with Sailosi Latu and freshman cornerback, Khalil Rashaad-Brown along with sophomore safety, Joseph Bryant.
