(Sacramento, CA) The 2015 Football Bowl Games were announced and Mt. SAC earns a trip to the Patriotic Bowl to face off against Golden West College at 6 pm on Saturday, November 21st. 

The Mounties, National Central League Co-Champions, with an overall record of 7-3 were seeded 8th and will travel to take on the Rustlers, 8-2 overall and third place in the National Southern League, who were seeded 6th. The game will be held at LeBard Stadium.

Mt. SAC missed a playoff opportunity with the SCFA Tie Break Criteria, to RCC, who the Mounties beat in conference play. With Mt. SAC, RCC and Long Beach City each in a three-way tie for the championship, the next level criteria was based on wins versus the highest ranked team at the end of the season. The Tigers beat the Saddleback Gauchos earlier in the year and the Gauchos ended up as a higher ranked out of conference team, and thus giving the Tigers the conference playoff spot.
