(Walnut, CA) The Mt. SAC Baseball team was thwarted with a four-hit complete game by the Long Beach City College pitching, 4-1, in a South Coast Conference crossover game on Thursday at Mazmanian Field.

The Vikings pitcher faced only four batters over the minimum and struck out five Mounties.

With LBCC leading, 4-0, the Mounties broke the shutout with a lone run in the bottom of the fifth inning when freshman catcher Daniel Ramirez (1-3) singled in freshman third baseman Conner Shepherd (1-3), to trail 4-1.

Mt. SAC freshman right fielder Brandon Bradshaw and freshman first baseman Jacob Castillo were the only other players with a hit.

The Mounties will travel to play the Vikings on Saturday game at noon.
