In 2004, he led the Mounties to the postseason for the first time in five years with a 22-14 record.  That season the Mounties were ranked in the top 15 in Southern California for a majority of the season.  The 2005 Mounties improved upon that success with a record of 25-13, finishing second in the South Coast Conference.  The team returned to post season play for the second consecutive year and was ranked as high as 5th in the Southern California rankings. In 2009 the Mounties finished with a 30-18 record, advancing all the way to the Super Regionals.

Coach Parker’s resume includes over 19 years of collegiate coaching experience at both the Division I and community college levels.  Prior to his arrival at Mt.
