Major Whitlock enters his 1^st season assisting with Mt. San Antonio College Men’s Basketball as an assistant coach.  Coach Whitlock brings extensive coaching and administrative experience to the Mountie Program having served in the capacity of head and assistant coach at the high school and community college levels. 

Major will be assisting with all aspects of the administration of the program including, recruiting, coaching, supervision of support staff, player development, and administrative responsibilities as assigned. 

Additionally, “Gramps” as the players call him was a local graduate of Nogales High School, where he earned several accolades including being nominated to the prestigious McDonald’s All-American Team, earning a NCAA Division 1 scholarship, and eventually playing professionally.
