David Limon Named To CCCAA Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll

(Sacramento, CA) Mountie Swimmer David Limon, was named to the 2017 California Community College Athletics Association (CCCAA) Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll.  Limon, a South Coast Conference (SCC) Finalist in the breastroke events (100y and 200y), scored 34 points for the 2017 SCC Champion Mounties.  Limon also excelled in the classroom where he maintained a solid 3.93 grade point average, before transferring to UCLA, where he is majoring in Psychology.

The CCCAA is the governing body of California Community College Athletics.  The CCCAA Scholar Athlete Honor Roll recipients are selected by the CCCAA Awards Committee from nominations made by community colleges throughout California.  Candidates must carry a minimum GPA of 3.5 and must also show outstanding leadership as an athlete, student, or in other college and community activities, as well as have participated in two seasons of sport at a California community college.
