Mt. SAC Athletics Announces 2015 Hall Of Fame Class

(Walnut, CA)  The Mt. SAC Athletics Department and the Mt. SAC Athletic Hall of Fame Committee extends our heartiest congratulations to the 2015 class. We invite you to join us in honoring this outstanding group of individuals at the Hall of Fame Banquet which is scheduled for Saturday, February 7, 2015, beginning at 5:30 pm, at the Pacific Palms Conference Resort (City of Industry, CA).

Mt. SAC Athletics Hall of Fame Class of 2015

  • Allen Brothers (Athletes), Orin, Hardy, Cecil* & Duane*. Pioneering Track & Football Stars at Mt. SAC.
  • 1964-65 Baseball Teams (Team), first Mt. SAC Teams to win consecutive State Championships.  50th  Anniversary of this accomplishment .
  • Anthony Calvillo (Athlete), former Mt. SAC Student-Athlete, most prolific passer in  professional football history with over 79,000 total passing yards.
  • Donald Evans Jr.*(Meritorius), former Mt. SAC Track Athlete who is a recipient of the Congressional Medal Of Honor (awarded posthumously on June 6th, 1968).  Army Hospital in Ft. Carson, Colorado named in his honor.
  • Naomi Low-Reale (Athlete), former Mt. SAC women’s soccer player, 1992 state championship team, state MVP, two time conference champs, two-time all conference and team leading goal scorer and conference player of the year.
  • Evans Roderick (Meritorious), over 35 years of service to the college as a coach and academic counselor.  A pioneer of academic support for two-year college student-athletes .
  • LaShawn Youngquist-Simmons (Athlete), state champion track and field sprinter. Held school records in 100M and 200M. 
  • Carsandra Taylor (Meritorious), former Mt. SAC Athletic Trainer with over 35 years of service to the college.
